UPDATE
I am in BOLC II going into my third week of training. During week one, I inprocessed and had an APFT. This past week we had an entire week of combatatives and training blocks on the M4, BRM and usage of NVGs. We head off to the range on Tuesday to zero and qualify.
Additionally, I have been reading the Ranger handbook to help me improve my understanding of OPORDs and study the Ranger creed. I am doing pt daily and rucking on the weekends. I will provide more updates soon.

Soak up your training now.
You will be in this shit before you know it. You may get to your unit and be the cherry LT and put up with all that bullshit, but you will have more responsibility than you know what to do with shortly. Don't fuck with your NCO's. You give them the tasks and they run it.
Don't be that guy who dicks around during all of this training. Be a sponge because soon, very, very soon you will have wide eyes looking at you to make a decision. Whatcha gonna do PL?
Ranger School fuck ups get you a no-go. Doing it here means you write a letter. Don't be the asshole PL that your PSG has to babysit.
Above all, learn to be rigid, flexible, humble, confident, aggressive, patient, friendly and genuinely concerned about your men but not their buddy. You will walk a fine line everyday. One that is almost impossible to define.
Tough realistic training now will save the lives of your men and yourself. Placating and easing up on them will get them killed. Soldiers bitch, PLs always set the standard in never quitting. You want your NCOs to advise you that the men need a break. If you aren't doing enough they won't come to you and tell you what they need. You need to come to them. Remember you are temporary. You will become a memory after you move on. Your NCOs stay. They can remember you as an awesome PL or a dickhead. That will be up to you.
There is an incredible human dimension to being an Infantry PL that BLDG 4 can't teach you. It needs to come from within and be a constant. It is hard to explain. You will have to earn the respect of your NCOs and men. Once you do, they will do anything you ask them to. If you don't earn it you will sit on the radio and be a glorified RTO. This will all be up to you. The training you are receiving is good, you just need to go the extra mile to learn everything you can. If you do this you will have something to give your platoon to make it stronger. If you coast by you will be an O2 theif.
Good luck and keep me posted.
And go get your fucking tab or I will send the Heathen after you.

Update: I will graduate IOBC tonight and recieve my blue cord. Everything up to this point has gone well so far and I am planning on going to the next Ranger school Class on July 8th. I have a long 5 week break until then and plan to go on leave for a week, go to the sniper employment course, a 1 week course and use the rest of the time to solely prepare for Ranger school. I will be keeping in shape during leave and sniper employment course and organize all the materials that I need and can help improve my survivability at Ranger school.

You're doing well. Put lots of effort into preparing OPORDS. You have come a long way. Heed the words Old Grunt gave you earlier in this thread. Michael is an articulate dude -- who knows what he's talkijng about.

Congrats on earning your blue cord and completation of the Sniper employment course. Later in your career, you'll be glad you had that training and unlike your peers you'll actually have a clue about how to best utilize your scout snipers. Whether it's COIN or a huge armor battle in Europe, history has shown that a properly trained and utilized sniper team can make or break the battle.
Good luck in school. Don't come back without your tab.
