Turn away from the Dark Side, go to USC, not Clemson!

Seriously, consider not starting college this year at all. Enlist, go the Regiment. Whether or not you stay, hell, whether or not you even make it, you'll be glad later that you made the effort.

After you finish your first enlistment (or your second, or your third, if you're like me) you still have the option to go to school, and go to ROTC.

Unlike your college peers, however, you'll have matured, physically and mentally. You'll have developed self-discipline. You'll have sorted out some of the important questions in life, like what you want to do for the rest of it. And you'll have saved some bucks for school.

I spent 10 years enlisted before I went to ROTC. I'm not saying that's the approved solution, but I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Ranger CHCB Clemson dominates USC! Nah, I'm jk, either one is fine with me, i just had more friends going to Clemson. But, what you have done with your career, is exactly what I have decided to do (90% sure anyway, will make my final decision thurday when i see my recruiter). I want to enlist with an 11x opt 40, and do the whole ROTC thing later. I WANT to do an army career, but realize that things change. I already have a backup plan in case I want out after 4 years. Thanks for you advice.
