Rangers and board members,
The recruiter has finally called me back, but it seems it is downhill from here. He has told me that the school is a Tier II equivalent school(GED) so I have no hopes of going in without college credits. I've had other people tell me to try another branch, but honestly ...

Yes sir, Ranger RRDTm3. I am currently in Texas and have had 0 luck where I am located(Laredo) and the place I am going to head to is Ohio. I have family up there so it's not as idiotic as it sounds I promise you that sir ;) I didn't just throw my finger on a map and pick a ...

Enlistment SitREP
Rangers and fellow board members,
I wanted to update from my last post, which is a very long time ago(close to a year.) I have to say that a lot has changed since then, but my goal has only been altered slightly. I spoke with a recruiter this week by phone. Rather than complain, I will just explain ...

Re: Joining Ranger Regiment without being 11B/C
All you need to be a Ranger are big enough balls not to give a fuck what any else says about your MOS. I was a Ranger Medic in a Ranger Weapons Platoon. We humped our asses off! Back in the day of 90mm recoiless sewer pipe, we each got a turn lugging that big bastard around perimeter road on ...

Re: Introduction
My apologies for the long delayed response, I was trying to spend time with the family while I was on Christmas break. Now that I am back though, I am going to start my PT preparation. I went out and bought some running specific shoes, a timer, and a lot of things to help me keep personal track ...

Re: Joining Ranger Regiment without being 11B/C
I feel so ignorant now. I read around some, and a post answered by Ranger Gordo173 answered my question perfectly.
"On one hand is the 75th Ranger Regiment. The Regiment is made up of many MOSes, all of whom are "full fledged" Rangers. The 11 series men in the line platoons get to play with guns ...

Will do Ranger Bill. Thank you for the welcome and I will update here when I learn more. When I return from vacation I'm going to start running and doing sit-ups, push-ups so I can post my own PT and see how much I improve pre-post Basic.

Re: Joining Ranger Regiment without being 11B/C
Ranger Scar, thank you for the advise. I just want to have my goal ready for the future so I have something to strive for. The retirement, SF, and all of that are not my main point at this time, my only question I have is joining as a MOS other than 11B/C.
I know I still need to talk to a recruiter ...

Joining Ranger Regiment without being 11B/C
I have my mind set on joining the Ranger Regiment. I have read a lot the past few months and learned more than I could have ever imagined. If I have read correctly, then I believe I can join the regiment(after passing Ranger school of course) without being an 11B/C. I had originally thought of ...

I have my heart and mind set on joining the Ranger Regiment at some ...
