Oil Refinery work =$$$
I'm just posting this here for anybody who might live near an oil refinery.
If you have an average job, get an average job at an oil refinery and get paid around 70k/yr(to START). Exxonmobile, chevron, shell, bp, valero, tesoro...etc Always hire off the street people, they will train you. It's not ...

So, for guys past and present. What is 1st battalion like? What kind of base is it exactly...is it just a damn airfield or what?
I know recently they were getting into alot of shit overseas, and we kept hear about how they didn't exactly have a "leash" on em like it appeared 2/75 did....just talk ...

"Selection" Now adays in the Rangers does not mean SFAS ;)
They rather have you go to the other one, cause they know you have little chance of making it all the way.....you will get thrown out of battalion if you decide to go to SFAS...it almost seems like they are not "worthy" of battalion rangers ...

Honestly, the 8 mile road march was the worst one i ever did in just the 2 years i spent with the regiment...This was honestly the only time i literally wanted to die, not quit but just fucking fall down and die a miserable death
Road marches off course are meant to be "WALKED" not fucking ...

close calls
Now, i'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination(12 jumps?) however, it seemed like i had one too many close calls:
Collided with a 240 gunner in the air(thank god i bounced off)
Ran off of someones parachute..."shit, it's gona collapse, it's gona collapse"
Narrowly missed getting drilled ...
