Smiddy, I can't take credit for anything. I can only say that any level I reached was due to the combined Bco/Cco A/T leadership (oh, and I didn't leave out Aco A/T on accident. Fuck them guys, they were always too cool for anyone else). I really miss the days that Bco and Cco WPNS shared the 3rd f...

Yep, that's a Javelin. I think we were all sceptical when we first got those in Bn, but they turned out to be one bad ass weapon system (as long as you didn't have to hump it). I've been to numerous live-fires (and got to fire one myself), but they were all against empty tank hulks. I was never luc...

Congratulations LN! Airborne! (>o|< So did the cadre tell you what speed the C - 141 slowed down to in order for you guys to jump? You didn't just jump out of a plane, you jumped out of a jet too! If I remember my jumpmaster training correctly, C-141's jump at 120 knots. 130 is drop speed. However,...

I apologize, I had absolutley no intent of being disrespectfull, but as for everything there is no excuse, it will not happan again. Fair enough! Maybe you'll get a chance to issue that apology personally to 8train. Good Luck, but don't let your mouth or attempted wit get in the way of becoming a m...

I searched the site and couldn't find an answer to my question. Where do you go after you've been kicked/leave a Ranger Batt? Does is depend on how you leave the Batt? Thanks for the Help Rangers!! ~Joseph Yes, it depends on how you leave battalion. RFS=needs of the Army; serving your contract hono...

Re: Colt 1911A1
Is the 1911A1 really fully retired or is it still optional for use? It is still used by some units as an option and some as a their primary pistol. I currently carry one as a part of my kit, and some other teams do as well. .45ACP Ammo is no longer on the STRAC so it is usually local purchased or o...

Do the boys on that special team at SF still use .45's? They use to brag about the callous on the web of their hand from firing the thing so much. And they were very very good with the damn things. RLTW Bell I have a calloused right hand...but it ain't from shooting so much...at least a gun!! :shoc...
