Introduction

Post by Geek »

Hello, my name is Ryan, I'm 26 years old, I am currently wrapping up my legal education and preparing for the bar exam this summer. I earned my bachelors degree from Eastern Oregon Univ. where I played basketball and baseball.

I enlisted in the Army on Saturday (February 26). I have an 11x contract with option 40. I ship out for basic on September 14, 2005.

I really don't ask many questions. As a result I won't be posting a whole lot. However, I'll be around trying to learn as much as possible before I ship.

Xducer: If I had to choose between the two I would be a prosecutor. However, I'll most likely go into tax law when I start practicing.

If it is due to asense of patriotism, duty, honor, country, my hat is off to you. Also you can learn from the experiences of all the Army's shithouse lawyers to further your knowledge of various aspects of law. Good luck stud.
Sapper1SG(Ret.): You hit it right on the head. All of those reasons have contributed toward my enlistment. As far as why Airborne Ranger, I didn't intend to enlist option 40. However, my counselor told me that Rangers would be a good fit for me, got on the phone, found me a slot, and strongly encouraged me to take it. I'm so grateful that I had a counselor who sincerely cared about my experience in the Army, enough to go out of his way to put me in the best situation. I plan on sending him a little note expressing that appreciation.

To all who have posted: Thank you very much for welcoming me to your site. I hope within the year I can earn the title of Ranger!
