Greetings.
Kevin Ingraham from 2d Bn, the very last cherry to report in while anyone was still on north fort, late July '75.
Raised from a pup into Ranger material mostly by future CSMs Stock & Mellinger.
Was A Co comm NCO when I reupped for SF where I remained until I etsed to become a career firefighter. Remained in SF reserves afterward. Retired from army in 2000 & the fire dept as ass't chief mid 2004.
Pretty much ascribe my success in life to standards I internalised in 2d Bn & the NCOs who chose to smack me up to speed rather than down the street.
Been lurking here for a long time & decided that I was overdue to wade into some of these threads.
Looking forward to the 75RRA reunion at Benning come July & meetiing more of you there.
