Reporting...

Post by 3rdHerdRGR375 »

Sorry I didn't do this right away. Just graduated from RIP Class 03-05 and am reporting to 3/75 as an 11B after leave. I know until I get done with RS, I will get the living shit smoked/hazed outta me, but as long as I stay unfucked and soak in info like a sponge, It'll keep my TL off my ass SOMEWHAT and looking forward to spending most, if not all of my career in the Army as a Ranger because it's one of the few still professional units in the Army, with the best soldiers, NCOs, and officers available. Anyways, I'm originally from Chicago and am looking forward to high speed shit ahead of me. Thanks. -matt

Welcome aboard and congrats on becoming a Ranger. Glad to have you with us. Have a safe, happy Christmas Season.

As an aside, the "3rd Herd" was the nickname for a VietNam unit (I believe the 3/503rd, 173rd Abn)....I'm sure that our very own Slowpoke will be mentioning that to you. Good luck.

Thank you and that's a negative on being wazzle's son. I'm pretty sure I know who he is though and I'm happy he's going to 3rd because he's a good guy.

Sorry about the 3rd Herd thing. Just a nickname my friends and I got. There were a ton of us going into RIP hold and only 3 of us were there standing tall at RIP grad. Sucks, but I guess they just didn't want it enough.

Betcha love hearing that? Every time I thought I had made it to some level of respectibility some fucker would come say that shit to me. Garduated from Ranger School and then I was told, "you aint shit till you go to Navy SERE....went there, and they said, aint shit till you've been a POW. Eyes to the front, learn to mumble under your breath and say "FuuuuuucccckkkkkkkkYeeewwwwwwwww!
