I doubt it was some spandex-clad Lance wannabe that fired on them. More than likely it was some gangster wannabe in oversized jeans, hooded sweatshirt, and a BMX bike.
That being said, I vote for the .45 ACP Hydra-Shok's.

I've found that the best weapon to use on bicyclists is a sawed off twelve gauge. The road-hoging little assholes are quick moving and hard to hit with a .45!

Yep, Scatter gun, very effective. The Scatter gun can be stored where the air pump would go.
If you are 1st in an intersection and a bike is coming up on your drivers side, a open door will likely kill him. A cyclist just got it this way in town last week. This method is just damn negilence by the driver. Yep!

I agree, especially when they are riding on the windy back roads. You turn a corner doing 50-55 and BAM one of those fuckers is taking his sweet ass time right in the middle of the lane, and they WILL NOT pull over to the side so you can pass. I love having to be late because some prick wants to treat a busy road like his own personal Tour de France doing 15mph. Many times I have thought about giving them a little "boost" via my front bumper.
There are a lot of stupid bicyclists, but there are responsible ones too, who actually obey traffic laws. Just like there are stupid drivers (although bicyclists take the majority)
When i was 20 I was almost hit by a car pulling out from a school without looking. I was obeying trafic laws at the time.
I have had a few close calls, sometimes I was at fault, but often it was the cars

This strikes me as funny. Are there a lot of stupid professors where you live - even though there are excellent ones too - and do those stupid profs actually give credit, for stating the obvious in class?

Like Ranger Slowpoke, I also hate cyclists....they think they have the same rights as cars. How many times have you almost seen a head on because some dumbass won't move his bike over.
I also mountain bike, and when I am on a road, I'm either on the side walk, bike lane, or as far as fucking possible to the right-I'd rather ride the dirt shoulder then risk being hit and inconveniencing drivers.

Over here we have bikes riding 3 across and blocking the entire lane. Note often we have two cars in one lane (don’t ask) and it can get tricky.
I say just spray with both barrels while driving by!
