Hello all, heres my sitrep. Glad I found this site, some of the others are a little weak. I've done a proper recon, and I like what I've seen. I applaud you all on your professionalism,(or non) when the situation dictates. Joined the army a cherry 17 year old in 83, the only Airborne slot available (RGR,11BP included) was a Rigger 43E,so thats what I did. At least I lucked out when I got to Bragg (after Basic,Airborne-44th co,& Rigger Ait) I was assigned to a Heavy Drop Plt (a littel more than 90 door bundles).Not a stich bitch or a pac rat,But I still kept my eye on the target. to Serve in one of the Bn's.It took over 2 years wait then I did the Bear pgm (bonus,extention,and retraining).Back to Basic/11b ait,Rip,Pre Ranger,then Ranger School(class 10-86)and on to the best Batt 1st Batt.After awhile it was time to reup,so off to HI,(wish I never left Bn) LRSD 125 MI,Then to Scouts 1/21st w/ssg(p)Grenier.Some of you may rember him, any way I hope I pass mustar.As we used to say if you don't have a Tab hit the slab.
