Greetings,
I have recently enlisted for Active Duty at the New York Recruiting station. I am currently in the Delayed entry program and am pursuing Future Soldier Training in preparation for BCT and AIT when I ship.
I am interested in including Ranger in my contract. My question here is is there any station in New York dedicated to future soldier training to help enlisted soldiers who would like to try for RASP after their AIT.
I believe RASP would be much tougher than BCT/AIT, so If I pursued Future Soldier training for RASP. that would be very helpful to my plans.
The current FS training that I am supposed to go through is geared towards BCT/AIT.
Moreover, I don't know swimming, so If there is a station which could help me with that, it would be highly appreciated.

Re: Future Soldier Training for RASP/Rangers
Since I just enlisted and I am in a 1 year DEP, I still have to start my FS training, I haven't taken an official AFPT.
My unofficial AFPT is
2 miles- 16 minutes
Push-ups 30
Situps 30
But I am sure my AFPT will improve.
P.S: I have a 6 months -1 year DEP.

Re: Future Soldier Training for RASP/Rangers
Sorry, I missed the report date part. I will get my report date when I go back to the Meps to choose my MOS, try for option 40, and renegotiate a ship date as part of a new contract. Right now, I have a placeholder MOS 09U.
