Hello Rangers,
My name is Brock, I am 21 years of age, and am sophomore in college. My goal is to become a Ranger. I plan on obtaining an 11x option 40 contract, but as of currently I have not spoken to a recruiter. I plan on speaking to a recruiter after I, 1) finish this semester of school, 2) study for the ASVAB, and 3) dramatically improve my PT scores.
My PST scores are quite abysmal to say the least. I'm not overweight, obese or anything (5'11- 175lbs); I'm just a marshmallow - soft as all hell.

Welcome,Casper. A man has only one opportunity to make a favorable initial impression. So far, you are doing OK. If you truly want to earn a place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right site. I want to be a warrior; I want to be part of an elite brotherhood, where excellence is the only thing that qualifies for success; And I want to be part of something that is bigger than myself - something of purpose and of magnitude. I want to suffer the pain associated with achieving the goal for it would have the same existential meaning without. In short, I want my life to have meaning, and for my meaning of life to accentuate I have to become a Ranger.
I keep a couple famous quotes in mind upon achieving my goals and dreams in regards to becoming a Ranger:

I know I haven't posted on here in a while, and I didn't even end up enlisting with an Ranger option. But I just wanted to say thank you for all the information that has been provided on here. It has been extremely helpful through the enlistment process.

Yes I have. Searching and finding answers from MEPS to security clearances to exercise regiments. Apart from searching simply browsing can be a useful tool. For example, in regards to the mental aspects of becoming a soldier it's hard to "search" for that, but simply reading posts has been beneficial to say the least.
I say it's been close to indispensable.

Yes, I did indeed enlist.
My MOS is 18x.
