I'll take your suggestions to heart and will continue to improve myself, and uphold the "no compromise" proverb.
In that case you should return to RASP Forum & correct your response to Ranger cdwdirect topic (about rip) where you did not address a Ranger properly.

Go back to your post & read what Ranger GoldCoast said you should do. His post follows yours. Then report back here & tell me what Ranger GoldCoast told you to do & what you did. Then re-edit your post a 2nd time & tell Ranger GoldCoast you have corrected your mistake and followed his direction.

I have recently contacted my recruiter, and will be applying to DEP's within these coming days, upon securing a letter of enrollment from my college of attendance.
Upon securing that, I will be then sent to MEPS several days from now.

I have also self administered a PT test, but I am by no means proud of these results.

I am thoroughly embarrassed to sit here, and type out these scores for you to evaluate.
It is on no one but myself, and I accept responsibility for dragging ass and not performing up to standards.

Advice on improving my run time would be appreciated, my cardio strength must be improved within these coming months, and I am desperate to not be that guy who simply floats through.
I will return with confirmation if I have secured my contract immediately.

Thank you for your time Rangers.
Enough with the self depricating, already!.. 78 proper-form & correctly done push ups are far more desirable than 179 half assed ones. Every time I see a new guy post that they can do more than 65 push-ups in two minutes I look at it with a very jaded eye. If you are in the kind of shape you say you are this is easily correctable. Trust me, I'm not saying I am the push up king. Far from it. I think the most I ever did on a PT test was 58, and I was happy as pig in shit for that. But you know what, those 58 were done correctly, with the body kept in a generally straight line. My arms fully extended and when I went down my upper arm broke the plane of my back. They were done continuously without having to pause... and It met the standard. I had to work my ass off to get there, though (push ups have never come easily for me.. more lower body strength..) but I made it.

And don't worry about being the guy who just "floats through". Count it as a blessing. If you have a particular affinity for something, whether it is push ups or land nav ability, or whatever, share it with your Ranger Buddies. If you are the guy who "floats through", but takes time to help get your buddies squared away, believe me it will not go un-noticed. It might earn you some good-Karma points with the cadre just when you need them. That being said, I'm pretty sure you won't just "float through" anyway. They have been doing this for a very long time and have a particular way of finding the chinks in your armor, and they will find them. Remember, everyone is sucking right along with you. Don't fall prey to the "Oh, I don't want to hold the group back" mentality, because if the men to your left and right are truly your Ranger buddy, they won't let you. The true "Ranger Buddy" will reach over and take part of your load, if not all of it. Refer to my earlier statement and the 5th stanza of the Ranger Creed; "I will never leave a fallen comrade.."

If your run time is off, there are things you can do, some are mentioned her in the PT forum. Now, go make it happen. You want to know what the standard is? Put out max effort for your ability, all day-every day, as we say in the fire service. You do that and you will meet the standard. If for some strange reason, you don't? No one can take away from you the fact that you gave it your best shot. Go watch the movie "Rudy" and you will see what I mean.

Doc out.
