A Charlie Ranger Down

Post by garyedolan »

I received this email from Ranger Tony Foster, one of my best TL in Nam:
"Happy Easter all:
It is with the deepest regrets that I inform you of the passing of Ranger Tommy W. Foster. Tommy died at 1:50 AM Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013.
He was 64 years old. His wife, Martha and He decided early Thursday morning to remove all life support systems. Tommy died peacefully with his family around him.
I thank God that Tommy's son Toby got his Father and I back together after 10 years. Tommy really enjoyed himself at the Charlie Ranger reunion in 2011. Tommy was a life member of the 75th Ranger Regiment Association as well as the 173rd Abn. Bde Assoc. If you could please inform all Charlie Rangers and the 75th RRA of his passing.
I will post his eulogy/ obit as soon as it appears.
Regretfully,
Ranger Tony Foster"
