A belated introduction. Please accept.

Post by warrior »

Hi, my name is Nicholas, I am 27 years old, have graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor in Economics. Turned professional Thai Boxer since I enjoy overcoming hardships, pain, and combat and never thought of anything else.
I am enlisting in a couple of months. I already passed the ASVAB and the physical recently (I have to wait the end of my professional contract in a couple of months to expire before enlisting). I will be shooting for airborne and 82nd DIV as my first duty station. It will be my honor serving this great country and giving my life for it if it happens. I am looking forward to being a member in the site and learning about the Rangers and how to go about becoming one of them.
I was overwhelmed by excitment last night when I found out about this site, and in my haste I overlooked many procedures. I apologize to everybody. Please accept my apology since no disrecpect was intended.

Thanks,

N,

Hi Soldier Angry pistols. Thanks for the interest.
My pro record is 21-2. I fought in the US, EU, and three fights in Thailand. Won a couple US National titles, and one ISKA international title. I am hoping to go on competing after I join the US Army.

Thanks, Angry is fine. That's a good record and something to be proud of.

Welcome to the site. Take yer time and read and search. Your question has been answered.

If you get lucky, you might be able to go in basics when and if they request volunteers.

More than likely you'll have to wait for the citizenship thing then transfer or reeup for the Ranger Regiment.

If you do go to the 82nd check into LRSD. You can get to Ranger School from there. If you successfully complete Ranger School and acquire the rank of Sergeant you will qualify for a transfer.

Keep us posted on your progress. You sound like a determined young man. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.
