Another Intro

Hello,

First, I'm an Officer candidate in the National Guard on the east coast, recently branched infantry. I commission in August. I've been in the national guard since Feb 18, 2010, and prior to that was USAF, many years ago. A crew chief on C-130s. I'm here primarily to read up on Ranger school and preparation, etc.

Basically to listen and learn.

Gitmo is NOT referring to any tour of duty on Gitmo or deployment to Gitmo. It's a nickname I earned for off duty shenanigans I may later elaborate on that everyone claimed would get me sent to "gitmo". The nickname stuck and people started calling me Gitmo.

I'd prefer to keep my state of service anonymous. At least one TAC officer and one TAC NCO are ranger qualified and have been deployed with the Rangers, so there's a reasonable chance they may be members.
