Hello everyone,
I am a 3E9 in the Air Force (the equivilent of a 74D), and I came here looking for information on Ranger School. I read an article on the Air Force Times website that because of more troops being deployed, there are lots of open slots at for Ranger School, so the Army decided to open the School up to Airmen of E-3 or higher, regardless of AFSC(MOS). I came here looking for anymore information on how to get a slot for Ranger School. I have not met any Airmen that have gone through the process, so I thought I would look here.
A lot of you might be asking, "why would he need to go to Ranger School?". Well, when I hit my 3 year mark, I plan on crosstraining into TACP, and having gone to and hopefully completed Ranger School, would look good to the board. Thank you for your time, and thank you for all that you do.
