You need to listen to your recruiters on this. Be patient and be glad your recruiters are decent and honest, and aren't trying to pressure you into something you don't want like 70% of the kids on this site. You will get your 11x opt 40, just settle down and be patient.

and goon can verify this, but I believe you will only be offered, and the best you can get is 11X. meaning, once you get to Benning, at the 30th AG, you could be assigned as an 11B or an 11C. you're more likely to get 11B of the two, but it's there. I've never met an 11C who didn't like it, but I was an 11B and that's what I wanted.

Yeah Roger, 11x is all you will get until you get to benning.
