I remember getting briefed on that stuff prior to Iraq in '05. There was a price for soldiers, and the payment varied for HMMWVs/Brads/Tanks etc. Nothing new.

Very true. Reagan did his best to incite an open war back in '87-'88. Wish we'd gotten it over with back then.
