How can I become an army ranger

Post by themanfrank »

Is the rangers something extra you can try out for once your already in the army or is it a seperate thing that you enlist in. Like once i graduate from highshool could I go straight to the army rangers or do i have to enlist in the army and then go try out to become a ranger.

Even more so if the person is a Ranger - in fact - unless you are an active duty servicemember or veteran, you will address them as 'Ranger' prior to writing their username, such as 'Ranger Saltbitch' or 'Ranger ABell9', etc... New members who show contempt or disrespect for Rangers on this site are quickly banned.

Word.

Some of us still address them as Ranger (note the capitalization) as a sign of respect still for their extreme intestinal fortitude...

Oh yeah....Ranger ...... the addition of the word "Word" just made me spit mild on my keyboard again.

I'm not stupid, I'm crazy...there is a difference.

1Search your heart and your psyche. Rangers are warriors. Rangers are trained to face highly dangerous and stressful combat actions. Ranger training will require the utmost in courage, physical stamina and self-discipline.
2Develop your body - run for endurance, train with weights, become a proficient swimmer.

3Keep yourself in top physical and mental condition.

4Remember that good soldiers are intelligent soldiers.

5Secure the best education possible.

6Familiarize yourself with military history, politics and international relations.

7Join the U.S. Army.
