When I enlist at 17 years old, do both my parents need to sign me in?

Can my father still sign me in if he is not on my boirth certificate?

I ask these questions because my mom is the only one on my birth certificate and she will most definitely not give her signature because she does not support their rules or contracts. But my father will sign me in if he can.

Whoever is noted as your legal guardian. If your Father is not on the birth certificate then it is likely he is not your legal guardian.

No there's no reason to wait except the fact that I want to enlist as soon as possible. I turn 18 on July 19, 2011.
