Introduction-Josh

Post by SouthWind »

Hey everyone,

I'm 22, graduating in August with a BS in Political Science and History. I signed a 18X contract and will be shipping out 20100921. My purpose for joining this forum is learn any training tips I can recieve, physical or mental about going to Ranger school as soon as I permitted to do so within the confines of my contract. I appreciate all of your hardwork that you all have put in to get where you're at, and your defense of our nation.

Welcome and congratulations for enlisting. Take Ranger ZoneIV's advice to heart. Focus on the short range target. Your opportunity to go to Ranger School is likely two years down the road, that is if you make it thorugh the SF pipeline. Good luck to you. Be sure to read and heed the ROE PM I have sent you.

Thanks Ranger Bill I got the PM and read it. Like I had said in my earlier post, I do not mean to come off as a trophy chaser, I'm not trying to take the world on or anything, sorry if it comes off like that. My line of thinking was that Ranger School, before the Q course, would improve me, and thus improve my chances of making it through. Since I have enlisted it would be wrong for me not to see how much potential I have, and recieve the best training I'm capable of retaining.
