Well...

I can use a 24 oz. framing hammer, but I prefer a nail gun.

What does that mean? 8)

In all honesty, it depends on the task at hand. ;) For your basic "get it done", the nail gun is more efficient. For the satisfaction of working with your hands to accomplish something, it's all about the framing hammer. 8)
