Intro from MichRanger

Post by MichRanger »

Hello,
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rod. I served in the 1/75 from 1980 to 84. I was with Aco weapons platoon as the FDC for most of the first three years and then I moved to HHC in the S-3 shop for the last year.
I was a winter Ranger and attended Ranger Class 3-81. In 83 i think, a SFMTT came to Hunter and a bunch of us went through a Jumpmaster course. I ended up with senior wings.
I look back on the time I spent in the Rangers and the time since and realize what a huge influance it had on me. I miss the people most of all. It was an Honor to serve with the Men of the 1/75 and I look forward to talking to some of them again on the forum.

Thank you, Rod

Thank you for the welcome everybody.
It was quite a surprise to hear from you Tater Nuts. You left some pretty big boots to be filled as an FDC but I gave it my best effort. It was a privilege learning from you.

Welcome to the site. I came into Batt in May 84 and was assigned to HHC, Commo, out of RIP, I'm sure we must have crossed somewhere along the way.

Welcome back to the Tribe.
MI seems to produce a lot of Rangers, you'll find quite a few of your neighbors already here.
