My son is waiting on the recruiters to find an OPT 40 slot. How often do they (ROCK) update the computer, daily, weekly or monthly? My guess would be as needed. It would be nice to know, my son is excited about joining the Army, I don’t want him to go up there to check too often because they are pressuring him to just join and get the OPT40 from within.

It's been said before, but I don't mind saying it again...

If he wants an OPT40 contract he needs to wait. Doesn't even matter how often they update it. When one is available he will get it. They should be able to tell him when one will be open.
