Yet Another Introduction
Hello Brethren.
I'm new to this site after having a chat with one of the admins. I used to haunt AirborneRanger.com as well and used the same alias.
My credentials....
As my alias probably led you to recognize, I was a medic.
1984 until 1990 I served with 2nd Batt. I was in HHC and WEBCO and have the fondest memories from my days in WEBCO. I miss these guys more than you can imagine.
From Jan 1990 until November 1990 I was stationed at Sierra Army Depot running the ER there. What a Hell hole. I spent the entire time there dealing with DA to get me out of there.
From December 1990 until Septermber 1993 I was with the 7th RTB keeping the studs going.
So if you know the dates, you know who I am.
My Current Life...
I ETS'ed in September 1993. I went back home to Mississippi and worked as a paramedic while going to shool. I completed a Bachelor's of Science in Technical and Occupational Education in 1999 and a Master's of Science in Instructional Technology in 2000. In August 2000 I was hired by Microsoft and moved back to the great Pacific Northwest. I've been with Microsoft ever since and currently work in the Xbox Support Training group. Back in April, I had the distinct pleasure of representing Microsoft and delivering several Xboxes and a ton of games and accessories to several wounded boys from 2nd Batt. It is indeed great to work for a company that cares and gives back. There are photoes on my Facebook page, but I'm not there to update it very often. These guys are true American heroes and it was an honor just to be in thieir presence.
My Personal Stuff...
I married my wife in 1988. We're still going strong after all these years. We have two girls that are both in college now. Their tuition is killing us though. :( That's pretty much it for now. I hope to link up with my former Batt Boys.
Oh, and I guess I should be looking for a promotion to Ranger pretty soon. Take care.
