He has been a republican in name only, for a very long time. Every time it comes to a tough decision he is the first to break ranks.

Well, now the Democrats have absolutely nobody to blame.

And the Republicans can start working at winning back all the former Republicans they traded in during the Palin ordeal.

If I am not mistaken, he did a segment on Stern last year and I found myself thinking WTF??? I guess this answers the question of why a conservative would be on Stern.

I think he said probably the most honest thing I've heard from a politican recently, something like one of the main reasons he switched was he didn't think he would win the next primary.
