Introduction

Hello Rangers,

my name is Doug, and I recently enlisted in the KS ARNG as an 11B, and am shipping to OSUT on 17 MAR. Originaly my plan was to do the Guard, go to college, and then go Active and become a Ranger. Unfortunatley I didn't do enough homework, and hadn't come across this site before signing, and didn't realize how difficult it would be to make it to the Regiment as prior service. But I shall make the most of my time in the NG, and never lose sight of my overall objective.

I've already done alot of reading on these forums and have learned alot, and I look forward to learning much more from all of you in the months and years ahead.

Also, I'm 19 years old, was homeschooled and have a G.E.D.
