Ranger School Class 06-08

Post by Bulldawgs07 »

Just wanted to let everyone know that I graduated Ranger School today along with 235 other Rangers out of a starting class size of 463. I kept a journal through school, much like the one posted in the "About Ranger School" forum that I'm going to type up and post soon for anyone interested in a more updated version of what it's like.

1. Congratulations on earning your tab!
2. I'm looking forward to reading your notes. Looking forward to seeing how the course has evolved over the past 37 years. My bet is the more things change, the more they stay the same. Looks like there is still about a 50% attrition rate.

Damn, seems like just yesterday you were giving your intro. From graduating Yale to graduating Ranger school. Ain't that the journey?

Congratulations, Sir!

Thanks all for the congrats. It's pretty surreal being done, but it's a great feeling.

Jim, you'll probably notice the main difference is an increased amount of food, something they've implemented to make sure we're combat effective the day we get out of school. Still, in the end around 30% of the guys who started day one of 06-08 went straight through, the remaining amount being plussed up by recycles joining our ranks.

Steadfast, reply sent.
