I don't give a hot boiled shit what your fucking recruiting issue is, if you are not a Ranger, Vet, or Spouse don't PM me about that shit without my permission.

ICEMAN28 (or whoever you are) post your situation here in the open if you want it answered.

SFC hit_it , I apologize very much so. That was stupid. Rangers, my situation is about obtaining an option 40. After reading this forum's information as well as goarmy.com, I have a question. I understand that I shall not settle for anything other than what I want. But, if getting an option 40 isn't possible at this time period, do I wait it out until I get one or is there no real chance of my obtaining an option 40? I understand the route of option 4/volunteer R.I.P./RS.

Thank you and once again my fault SFC hit_it.

The answer to that one seems fairly simple in my narrow minded view of things.
The real question now becomes, "How badly do I want a guaranteed shot at RIP"?

Answer that question and proceed accordingly. Good luck.

Just get the opt. 40. don't settle for anything less. If you do then it's your ass. Step up or ship out.

If you are told that no Option 40 is available, thank your recrutier for his time. Tell him to call you when one is available.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.
