I'm not understanding. Was he inducted into the RHOF or as a Distinguished Member of RTB? I think the writer got it a little screwed up.

I think they got it wrong. But, Jim Tucker was One hell of a fine Ranger. He later commanded a battalion in 1ID at Fort Riley. Richly deserves the title Distinguished Member of the Regiment. He was the Camp Commander when my class went through Florida. he and Uncle Bernie were individuals I will not soon forget.

Nothing new for a media type to get things wrong. Tucker was not a 2008 Nominee for the RHOF. The RHOF Ceremony will be not be held until June.

Bill, I went back and looked over each year. He has never been selected for RHOF.

I did not mean to imply that he was already a member.
