Introduction
I served in 1/75 B Co 2nd Plt from 1982 to 1984. Ranger School Class 11-83. When I left the C-130 over Grenada, a hung jumper (SP4 W. Fedak) caught my eye. I turned back to look at him and was spun around when my chute opened. It gave me a great view of the airport though-instant orientation! Landed like a sack of rocks in the middle of the asphalt runway. Knocked my M203 out of alignment even though it still functioned. Glad to be on this site and hope to hear from some of the Rangers I knew.

Re: Introduction
What rank were you on Grenada? I remember a M203 gunner helping me out for about 30 minutes, but I never learned his name. I was in the 82nd Airborne at the time, and was the first aircraft in after the Rangers.Chris Marks wrote:I served in 1/75 B Co 2nd Plt from 1982 to 1984. Ranger School Class 11-83.
