introduction

Post by dep089 »

Rangers,
My name is Sam and I am 18 years old. I am a senior in high school, currently in the dep program with the army under an 11x option 40 contract. I enlisted October 1st and I ship out on June 24th. I have come here to learn from the very men I look up to and above all respect. Once shipped, only hoping to rise above the ranger challenge and uphold the name "Ranger".

My PT scores:
Push ups-54 2 mins
Sit ups-62 2 mins
2 mile run- 15 min 43 sec

These aren't the best, I know but I work towards my goals and I never quit!

Welcome to the site Sam and congratulations on securing your own option 40.

Nice intro by the way. You've got about 5 months to get those PT scores up before you can be sure of putting the 'R' in Ranger. I'm sure you can do it.

Welcome. You need to work on your PT. A lot.

There are resources and people here that can help you. Keep your shit straight and you should be ok.

Welcome. Take the time to read the Rules of Engagement (ROE) that I sent you in a PM. Do not respond to it. Read and heed.

One of the DEPs will be along shortly to square you away.
