Having trouble deciding who to vote for in 2008?
This will compare your answers with ALL candidates.
I found this to be of interest .... It did not select the candidate I had expected!
Of even more interest was which were way down the list - and why.. Click on the website below

What I thought was interesting is the significant drop in scores from the Republicans (which I am btw) to the democrats damn near a full 50% drop. But I still can't figure out who'm I'm gonna vote for. I was thinking about Huckabee but still undecided. (Guess I'm gonna have to check out Hunter more closely)

Ranger Caruthers,
Living in Oregon has had little to do with the forming of my social philosophy. I live in Ashland in southern Oregon which has a very modern liberal (socialist) bent. My studies in economics after becoming involved in the precious metals and coin markets led me to the study of Austrian Economics, Classical Liberalism, and Libertarian theory along with a few other things. I've come to the conclusion that Ron Paul's philosophy is the only one I can logically agree with given my studies. I've actually become the spokesperson for the Ron Paul meetup group in nearby Medford and am lining up a run for the State Legislature myself to try and free up Oregon a bit more.

So you would take the ants food and give it to the grasshopper? No don't answer that..........go for it, if that is what makes you happy. I'm for- do it your self, help if asked and the govt can stay the hell out of the way. I have the belief that alot of us older and getting fossilized types are that away. The young folk are going to reinvent the wheel.

Ranger Caruthers,
I have no intention whatsoever of giving the ant's food to the grasshopper. That would violate my philosophy. I agree with you %100 that people should do for themselves. I believe that the proper function of Government is the protection of Life, Liberty, and Property. All else should be left up to the market. If people find themselves in a bad situation they must seek charity, not the use of Government coercion in order to violate the property of other for their benefit. When coercion enters, charity leaves. Basically I am a Republican with very strong Libertarian beliefs. Besides if the market is allowed to be free so much wealth is generated that the majority of the poor are sucked into the middle class. Liberty solves the vast majority of our problems.
