Hi, my name is Brandon. I am 17 years old and I am going into my second semester of my senior year of high school.
In enlisted in the Army as a DEP this past June. Right now I have an 11X contract but I hope to get option 40 added to it before I ship, 5 June 2008. I would like to thank every Ranger here for posting and sharing their knowledge. I have already learned a great deal just from reading everyoneâ€™s posts. I will keep it to just reading for the time being, until I have earned the right to share what I know. I do not know my current APFT scores off the top of my head but I will post them when I do. Again, I thank you all for your service and everything you have done to make the U.S. the greatest country of the face of the Earth.

Welcome to the site and congratulations for enlisting. If you are serious about obtaining an Option 40, you need to work with your recruiter to renegotiate your contract. Be sure to read the ROE PM I have sent you.
