Soldiers' supporter: Top Special Forces noncom says goodbye

Post by Chiron »

Command Sgt. Maj. Mike Hall paused with emotion as he started to speak of the Army special operations soldiers killed and wounded during the past six years.

That’s 128 names added to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command Memorial Wall at Fort Bragg and more than 1,600 wounded.

Last week, Hall recalled the casualties as he turned over his duties as the top noncommissioned officer of U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

Whats interesting to me is that CSM Hall looks like he could be Gen. Wayne A. Downings brother, they look damn near alike.

Does SOCOM personnel wear a tan beret as well?
