going back

Post by Mika »

Back in around November I went to RIP, failed(no VW) got sent to 82nd, still deployed. I was told I can come back and try again in 6 months, it's going to be well passed that when I get back in April.

Im a 13F, no trouble/issues except for one thing. Ive been told in order to get out of the 82nd, I gotta reenlist. I really do not plan on reenlisting until I have my foot in the door outside the big Army. Is this true? Im sure my retention NCO would tell me what he wants me to hear, with all that pressure he's under. I really want to go back, this time PT would be no problem at all, and I still kept to myself the one valuable lesson ive learned, always be ready for anything.

Who can I talk to out there? Im trying to get in 2nd Batt BTW

In other terms, I want to know if there's anyone out there who knows about the 82nd, if I can get into RIP again when I redeploy WITHOUT signing a new contract, until at least I get to where I want to be.

Last time I did it through the Ranger Liason in AB school back at Benning, Im trying to find out if they got something simular at Bragg that can help me get another shot at becoming a Ranger.

I really appreciate your help.
