apology from a veteran...
I want to formally apologize for my actions approx. a year ago. One of your members came into the parts store I worked at wearing a ranger shirt and for reasons I don't fully understand, I told him I was also a ranger. I continued this lie for around a month with a couple others... I make no excuses for my lack of respect for your family.
I am a veteran of Kosovo and Iraq, I was with the 101st airborne, but I did NOT go to ranger school. Again, I apologize for claiming I did, and it won't happen again.

Re: Devil
I will not put out the welcome mat! That chance was lost. I would like to know how much of it is truth or not. Ranger he is NOT. Was he at Vicenza? When I was there? If not how did he get his information? Nothing OPSEC but small details that to know you must have been digging for a long time.FIST TEAM LTR wrote:Hate to play the Devil's Advocate (personal friend of mine)

If he was what is the motive? To try and get through the door at the expense of your personal integrity is not reason enough for me. So if it was all lies why, for whom?

this is the first time I've been on here... never used "airborne falcon" or any other name. I understand your scepticism though, I don't expect to be welcomed into your community and that is not what I'm asking for... I am simply trying to make amends as best as possible.
I am proud of my service and anyone who doubts what I am telling you now can check me out...
entered service 10 Feb. 00, grad. osut 9 (???) june 00, 11b, reported to Ft. Campbell mid- August 00 for further assignment to C 3/502, deployed to Kosovo May 01, returned Nov. 01, reassigned to HHC 3/502 in 02, participated in invasion of Iraq 03, ets 9 Feb 04, assigned Nat'l Guard Greenville, KY, deployed to Iraq in Jan 05, returned Jan 06, transferred to MN based Guard unit where I am now.
Again, I apologoze for my previous actions and in no way wish to disrespect what you fine men have done nor do I wish to disrespect what I HAVE done. I'm learning from past mistakes and trying to be a better man.

One of the only ones to come here and apologize, so thats a positive step. Why anyone would chose to embellish their career is what always baffles us, we appreciate everyone who serves. You should be proud of your service, period.russell wrote:Cliv03 wrote:Welcome....You need an avatar....![]()

anyone wanna find a suitable one for me??? Whatever ya'll think is appropriate... send it to me, have a mod put it on... whatever.
As for requesting an Avatar from a mod...the term glutton for punishment comes to mind.
