Folton pick up?

I was just reading a book about SpecOps from Vietnam. And I read that one way they get you out of an area is. They snag you by a cable, that is attached to an airplane. And when it flys over head it snags you. Do you still do that kind of stuff today? And what deos it feel like?

Officially they may still do it, and you may see it done during a demo using a dummy, but they do not still do this. Too many soldiers hurt. I doubt it feels real pleasant on the meat and potatoes either. You will do plenty of other high-speed things if you make it to batt.
