Graduated RIP

Post by ripPT »

I graduated RIP last week on 17 November and am headed to 1/75 after my inprocessing. Thanks for all the advice and inspiration that is available on this website, with "suck it up and drive on" definitely being the most applicable advice there is for RIP.

That is absolutely fantastic, Ranger. Congrats on having the fortitude to earn that Beret. The best is yet to come. I'll be sending you a PM directly. Again, congrats, and welcome to the Brotherhood.

If you think you've been smoked somewhere in the process of going through RIP you'll learn differently soon enough. For most it's difficult to pass RIP and earn that Tan Beret. For all, it's more difficult to maintain being a Ranger. You have to prove yourself worthy on a daily basis. It's not a temporary thing, like RIP was.
