HELLO

Post by BOOMER1 »

Just came accross this site while searching for some info on trying to get in to Ranger Bat. I have been in the Army since 92. I am a 11C. I got off active in 96 and have been in alot of unit since. My last was the 19th SFGA in the Utah NG. I am going back to active cause i miss it. and I wanted to go to Ranger BAT and the told me no. So now I am going to FT Drum. I would really like to know if there is any way to get a Ranger Contract?

Have you read any FAQ's posted on this site. And please do not refer to or call me Sir. I am Ranger Steadfast. If you got back to recruitment forum, you will address your questions to SFC hit_it. He is not here right now. He is on Active duty and in the field. He may return later today.

I joined in 1992 as a 11C and I went To FT Stewart for 3 years and then I got out to go to school and stayed in the NG. Then I moved to texas and joined and MP unit in Dallas. They stuck me in the commo section the I was in a PHYSOPS unit and then I became a 67U chinook mech. Then I joing the 19th SFGA in utah. I had to leave that cause my wife got laid off at her job with Delta airlines and now i am going back to active. I really miss it. I have alot of Ranger friends and i would like to join them in the ranks of the few

I mean absolutely no disrespect, but forum rules dictate that all Rangers will be adressed as Ranger(insert name here). FYI.

Thank you for your service to our country.

Ranger Bad Muther I think all it takes is a 4187 and for your unit to let you go.

But, you have to be both Airborne and Ranger qualified to go in as an NCO. If that is the case, there should be no probs. except waiting for a slot in ROP. If my memory serves me correct.
