This price blows. Anyone found a better price for these?

The difference is Gear Queers like the prestige of carrying H&K stuff. I have yet to see an M4 Mag suffer a catostrophic failure that wasn't caused by a bullet or a bomb, of course I've only been carrying them for 20+ years.

Ouch! $55 for a shotgun shell holder that holds 4 fucking shells. Couldn't you just carry that many in your pants pocket ?

What would the Blackwater workers think about you, if you walked around the FOB with shells in your pocket?

That is what I thought. Most people don't believe this but for the most part but what you are issued from supply is usually not ony the right stuff for the job but just as good or better than what you can buy on the street.

Some units are issuing these now and I was looking into the possibility of getting them for mine.

But everyone has gotta be a negative nancy...

I have heard that these are very reliable, don't get banged up as much and feed better. Also our mags are old and busted, so I am looking into options.

Sir,
Be patient. I come from a time when "Special Issue" was 9 sets of jungle fatigues, 3 pair of jungle boots and 2 Black Berets.

I know this topic is kinda dead now but just wanted to throw in my .02...

When my company deployed, we had the original colt mags. In our first major fight, 3 of the mags (the first mags that 3 different soldiers were using) all hadd some kind of problem. I think the springs broke on 2 and the other one the spring just wouldnt decompress and feed rounds (probably their faults, I know)

After about a month, we got the new mags from H&K, and we never had an issue after that. I personally like the mags, easier to work with, a bit heavier but I think they stand up to abuse alot more.
