Introduction

Post by over29 »

Hi, my name is Perry I'm 30 years old 72 inches and 292 lbs. I work for the SPD division Dana. I found this site after getting serious and wanting to be a Ranger. But I need to really quit being a fatass and get in better shape. I started in March at 325 pounds now Im 292 pounds. Ill be searching this site for most of the info I need. As I doubt my questions are new.

I want to thank you for letting me be a guest at your house.

Thank you for wanting to serve your Country. I am curious though, why, at age 30 do you now want to be a Ranger? Not saying it can't be done....a lot of men on here did it, I was just curious. It sounds like you have a good LEO job (I assume that the SPDis LE), and now you want and go make e-2 pay to be a Ranger?

Since you did not include that in your introduction, I'll just throw that out there.

Again, glad you stopped by, take a look around.
RangerRon, thank you

Ranger Scuba Wino, I should've made a better intro. SPD is sealing products division for Dana (gasket manufacture) As for wanting to be a Ranger for me its about Honor and brotherhood. I decided after my Grandfather past way I should serve my country.

Ranger RTO, That was my high school weight too. I've been a fat lazy turd since midde school. Yesterday I increased the workout a little. HIIT on a stationary bike and walking 6-8miles at 3mph.

Thank you for your reply and clarification on SPD. The obvious is that you need to drop some weight before you do anything, and congrats on the weight you've already lost.

One more question though, what did your Grandfather pssing away have to do with your decision to join and serve?

Thanks
Ranger Scuba Wino, You're welcome and thank you for the congrats.
As for my Grandfather passing away it made me think. And to honor all he has done I am going to join and serve. Tomorrow is his burial. he was AF for 23 years.

Not only do you have approx. 100 lbs. to loose, you have to lose the 'fat lazy turd' that made you that way in the first place.

Good luck to you..... I hope you make it! :D
