C 1/75 '83-'86. I was in from Black beret, jungle fatigues, and C rats until MRE's and Regt. Ranger School 2/85. Chiggers, lots and lots of chiggers. Howlin' Harvey Moore was my first squad leader (empitome of a Ranger and now in the HOF). Wes Taylor BC and Barno was the Hardrock's CO (it hurt like hell when he gave blood rank, now a general).
Been out of the loop for a while but met a guy that was in 2nd batt last weekend that told me that the Regt is running high speed.
