question regarding a Glock 27 hand grip

Post by Bugsy »

I got a buddy of mine who wants to change the hand grip on his Glock 27, but his question is.

He's got a Pearce hand grip (model 26- extendable + 2) inside the grip is a plastic piece that's has the spring around it. With the plastic piece intact he loses 2 rounds, His question is should he take the plastic piece out, and if he does would that cause any problems. I'm not familiar with Glocks, my first thought would be NO do not take the plastic piece out.

But I thought I'd run it buy one of you guys as well who might Know better than me. Any comment would be appreciated.

Pearce grip makes G27 mag extensions, including ones that give you 2 more rounds.
