2nd Intoduction.
For those of you who did not like my first introduction, I apologize. But thank you for your willingness to let me remain on this site. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from those of you who are Rangers. So once again, thank you.
My name is Heath. I am 21 years old and live about 30 minutes south of Indianapolis, IN. I joined the Army 2 weeks ago with option 40 and I will be leaving for basic training on May 17. I am interseted in becoming a Ranger because of the duty, responsibility, and challenge. Currently I am a sanitary technician, which is a fancy word for trashman. I recently attended a Bible college in Ohio from August 05 to December 05. After my season in Bible college was finished, I took my next step in life towards the direction I believed God was leading me to go. The apex of this endeavor will be protecting and serving my country as well as the feeling of personal accomplishment. Thank You.

You've got a lot of work to do in a very short time.
Read this site thoroughly, skip the social only forums & pay special attention to the PT stuff. Whatever shape you're in, it isn't good enough.
Being a Christian and a recruit will take some strength of character, but you'll need a lot of that to make it to and remain in Regiment anyway.
Get a think skin as well.
Read much, post little.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.

Why you? Why do they always pick you?
I think he comes across as a pudgy, jolly, man that makes people want to crawl up and sit in his lap. Not till after they look and see they have lost a leg and an arm do they realize their thinking.....was in error.
