You also seem to have the pre-conceived misconception that we're ready to trip over each other because some literary arrogant fuck-wit wants to record our life-style for posperity.
I'll bet your fantasy Spec-Ops types have a fucking female on their team, some no-nonsense cross between Laura Croft and Brittany fucking Spears.
Shut the fuck up and hit the search button, there's reams of info here that can at least lead you to ask more pertinent fucking questions than whether or not your hero is carrying obsolete "variants".
There's an outside chance you may actually be taken seriously.
