We were young once, and we were BAD, 99% of the Ranger Company were Vietnam Veterans. Special forces, LRRP, etc.
Alot of expertice in a small company on a post full of pot smoking, boozing legs.
I am still in contact with alot of these 70's Rangers who seem to be dying at a rate of more than 1 or 2 a year.
My Ranger Co. RTO died last year, after serving as a lawyer in Ca. for many years. I hear he felt bad and went to the hospital was diagnosed with monoluciousis (sp), he never made it home again. His name was Alan Campbell (SP/4) but he was 1 fine Ranger.
