Ok folks, been doing a bunch of .308 reloads. Here is the purpose and loads I've made so far. Any other ideas would be cool. Granted, the BC isn't awesome, but the ranges I will be using it isn't a super big deal. For any of you that might have the rifle that is below, any incite would be nice. Also, for those of you that reload your .308's, any ideas on that would also be cool (i.e. powder, varmit bullets, etc.). Anyway, here is yesterdays data.

As far as data, the 110 gr loads I made were for a 1-10" twist, which is what my rifle is. However, I was pushing the muzzle velocity from 2,600 fps to 3,017 fps on the high end loads. That might be a little part of it as well since the best accuracy with a .308 is between 1,600 fps to 2,000 fps.Terry Welshan wrote:Isn't the 110 supposed to work better in a different twist rate that standard 165-175's ?
I picked up some Hornady 110 gr V-Max. I'll see what those do also.

I could never get good groups out of that bullet with a 1 in 10 twist, if you want a fun experiment get a box of cheep 7.62x 25 pistol ammo, pull the bullets and load those. 80 grain fmj, lightest .308 bullet I could find
best I got was 3900 fps out of a 300wm with 1 inch group at 200 yds, proably could have got more velocity with a faster powder

How come they aren't advertised as much as the Hornady, Speer, etc.... folks? Not that I doubt them, but they sure boast high BC's on their bullets. What is your take on them?Horned Toad wrote:been wanting to try some of this brand, espically the .308 190s

read some good shit, that’s about it, there are quite a few small companies that just cater to the accuracy crowd and not to the mainstream. I would like to get a box to see how they do. Real some will embark on my 300wm rebuild so will do some shootingtsod275 wrote:How come they aren't advertised as much as the Hornady, Speer, etc.... folks?
