General Intro

Post by Joe_328 »

Hey Rangers and others,

Just dropping an intro here before I start reading and posting topics.
I'm currently 22 years old. I joined the Army in Oct 2004, and went to basic at Ft. Sill. I then went on to AIT at Ft. Sam Houston for my 91W training. I volunteered for airborne and completed that school last week. I then anxiously volunteered for RIP. I am currently in holdover until our class begins July 18th.
I'm currently on our 4th of July break and trying to enjoy myself while staying fit and learning some info on RIP.
I currently post at airborneranger.com and Ranger Kilted Heathen told me this was a prime sight for RIP info; so I'll be searching the RIP forum and probably throwing some questions out if need be. Thanks in advance!

DEPs!

Help this kid narrow his searches and get focused ASAP.
He's already in holdover with very limited computer time, start pm'ing him whatever you have that he can copy off and keep under his pillow.

Focus on PT programs.
He's got his chance the hard way and he needs fucking help now!
This is what you're here for.
350...get his ass in the minor mayhem and start pointing him in the right direction, you've got 14 days to ensure he's as knowledgable as any 6 month DEP member.
Consider this urgent.

Joe, welcome to the site and don't get a swelled head....you're still an asshole but at least you know how to listen and execute.

Let's go motherfuckers, get the pm's flying.

Joe...lemme know whatever you need.

Good luck you poor bastard, life as you know it will never be the same now.

If you quit I'm gonna fucking hunt you down.

Welcome,

Keep your nose to the grindstone and focused.

There is nothing you cant do if you set your mind to it!!

The human body will withstand a lot more than you think it will.

Good luck.

borebrush wrote:Welcome broseph... Your desire for self-improvement is admirable, and any grunt unit would benefit from such an attitude. I wish I had a forum such as this when I was getting started in the Marine Corps. Make the most of it. I dont hold any answers for becoming a Ranger, sorry Im not one. But hopefully this Marines advice might help you succeed requardless...

-aim centermass
-do as you are told.
-learn from others mistakes
-never skyline yourself, or your unit.
-stay bigger than the situation.
-dont think inside the box, you only get buried inside of it.

Best of luck
OK,

Now you got him aiming at me................
